PermitLookup is operated by ECB TX LLC.

What we collect

• Your account email, used for sign-in, billing, and service notices.
• Usage logs that record API requests, including the requesting IP address, endpoint, and lookup counts. These enforce rate limits and plan quotas and appear (aggregated) on your usage dashboard.
• Your Stripe customer id, so subscription state can be matched to your account. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see card numbers.

Analytics

The marketing site runs basic, first-party analytics only. There are no third-party ad trackers on this site.

Retention

Usage logs are retained for 13 months, after which they are deleted or aggregated. Account records are kept for as long as your account is open, plus the period required for tax and dispute records.

Your rights

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, email privacy@ecbtx.com. We respond within a reasonable period and no later than any deadline applicable to us.

Data about properties and individuals

The product contains public records about properties: building permits, code violations, sales, liens, flood zones, and similar government-source data. On enriched products, contact data (names, phone numbers, email addresses) is sourced from licensed third-party data providers.

Opt-out: if you are an individual whose contact data appears in an enriched product, you can request removal by emailing privacy@ecbtx.com with the listing (address or record reference) and your relationship to it. We process verified opt-out requests by suppressing the record from enriched outputs within 30 days and propagating the suppression to refresh cycles.

Texas Data Privacy and Security Act

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) does not apply to this service: ECB TX LLC is a small business under that act's threshold and does not meet the act's processing-volume triggers. We honor the rights requests above as a practice, not because the act compels it. If our processing ever crosses the act's thresholds, this notice will be updated and the act's obligations will be met.

No sale of visitor data

We do not sell visitor data. We do not share visitor data with advertisers or data brokers.
