PermitLookup is operated by ECB TX LLC.
Agreement and governing law
These Terms govern your use of PermitLookup. The agreement is with ECB TX LLC, and is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Brazoria County, Texas.
License
Your subscription grants a license to use the service that is per-account and non-transferable. Account credentials and API access may not be shared across organizations.
No resale or redistribution
No resale or redistribution of records is permitted. You may use records returned by the API and delivered exports in your own business operations, but you may not resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the records themselves, whether as a standalone dataset or as a substantial part of another data product.
Model training
No training of machine-learning models on bulk exports is permitted without the prior written consent of ECB TX LLC.
Data provided as-is
The product contains public-record data provided as-is, with no warranty of accuracy or completeness. Records originate from third-party public sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Verify anything material before relying on it.
API keys
API keys are secrets. The holder of an API key is responsible for all use made with that key, including use by anyone who obtains it from you. Keep keys confidential; rotate them immediately if they are exposed.
Acceptable use and termination
Use of the service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. ECB TX LLC may terminate an account for an AUP breach.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ECB TX LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to ECB TX LLC in the prior 3 months.
Billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation
Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal linked from your account dashboard, or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; see Refund Policy.
